Over at PaperArtsy Darcy has started a monthly journal challenge, see it here, Darcys page had 14 coats of paint on and for my sins so has mine! My arms nearly fell off rubbing back all that paint!!
I am showing you a part finished page as there are some words i want to add that i don't want to share publicly. I have used the same grunge paste, masking tape and painting techniques that Darcy has used and also the rubbing of the stencil under the page is incorporated too.
I really enjoyed layering up all these paints, it felt very therapeutic.
Thanks for looking.
Wow, that was quick Emma. Silhouette looks good on that background. Trying to imagine a caption to it. We could have another competition. Guess Emma's missing words. X
ReplyDeleteCorrrrr blimey, 14 coats of paint, you bonkers or what, actually, don't answer that!!
ReplyDeleteGood idea to share before you put the bits on you don't want us to see, rather than putting them on and then covering them up.

Crikey, I agree with Hazel, that was quick. Can see all the lovely layers and I love that border. Brilliant silhouette but she looks as though she's giving someone a right old wigging!
