I wanted to have a go at making a wreath to hang over my fireplace at Christmas, i saw this idea on a blog somewhere and thought i would have a go, i used silver and white to compliment my colour scheme for this year.
Here is a close up of one of the flowers i made by heating some voile till it crinkled.
I want to enter this into the Arty Inklings Christmas challenge
Thanks for looking.

ReplyDeleteThat's soooooo pretty Emma! Looks very 'frosty' and gently sparkling. Bet it catches the light beautifully at night time. Lovely project altogether!

Rather special wreath Emma, beautiful & sparkly:-) x
ReplyDeleteFabulous xx
ReplyDeleteLove how the tinged edges have gone slightly darker so you can see the flowers set on the wreath, even though it's all the same colours xx

What a great idea! This looks fabulous Emma! I love heating fabrics like this - I think I might try this, as I'm a bit of a pyromaniac! Julie Ann xx
